Shocka Sports is a sub-division of Richard Battersby (Corn Merchants) Ltd and Battersby Sports Ground Supplies.

Battersby’s is a small family concern which has been trading for over 160 years. The company originally supplied local farmers with feeds, seeds and fertilisers, in fact the company continues to provide these products to this day.
Over the past 20 years we have diversified to supplying Sports Grounds throughout the North of England with top dressings, grass seeds and fertilisers. We have also introduced a complementary range of products and services such as mobile covers, flat sheets, ground maintenance services and line marking machines and compounds.

Shocka Sports have taken Battersby’s one step further and we can now supply teamwear, workwear, golf, specialist cricket equipment and more. Sourcing directly from manufacturers we aim to bring you the best possible equipment at the most affordable prices. We are also able to offer a full embroidery service to give your team that professional image.
As well as supplying sports clubs we are also open to the public as a retail outlet.
